S T E V E N S (2016)

S T E V E N S is a tiny book comprising a single Wallace Stevens line: “Let be be finale of seem,” from his poem “The Emperor of Ice-Cream.” This line is broken up across the pages in sequences of three letters, rendering the phrase almost unintelligible. It was letterpress printed from handset type in 2016. The type is ten point News Gothic. The paper is Mohawk Superfine.

Each book is bound with unwaxed linen thread in a single-section stub binding with French flaps.
